The brief
Meridian Estates is building ninety-six apartments for rent on the edge of the city centre. The design calls for deep precast balconies that give every flat an outdoor room.
How we are building it
The frame is in-situ concrete, poured a floor every nine days. Façade panels follow four levels behind, lifted in the gaps between concrete pours so that one tower crane serves both trades.
Block A is watertight. Block B has panels fitted to level nine, with windows following two floors below.
What comes next
Internal fit-out starts on the lower floors of Block B this winter. Handover of both blocks is programmed for February 2027.
